Water

Our thinner is the most natural existing thing: WATER, reducing emissions of solvents in the environment.

Renewable sources

Components are obtained from waste of the agro-food industry, they are not in competition with human nutrition.

How a paint is made?

Basic knowledge

In a “synthetic” way, any paint is made up of three basic elements: GLUE (or resin), COLOUR (or shade), THINNER. The “glue” allows the colour to adhere to the desired surface, while the thinner prevents that the product hardens in the can. Once the coating is applied, the thinner evaporates, leaving the colour on the wood or the painted metal.

What does it mean that

a paint is SUSTAINABLE?

D’AQUA uses, for most of its products, resins that come from renewable resources. These are obtained from waste of the agro-food industry, they are ecological (as their production reduces the percentage of CO2 emissions into the atmosphere), sustainable and they are not in competition with human nutrition.

Our thinner is the most natural existing thing: WATER. This allows, in an active way, the reduction (up to 95% ) of the emissions of solvents into the atmosphere and living spaces.

Thanks to sustainable research and development activities, D’AQUA actually support Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of UN.
