Waterborne impregnating agents
The waterborne impregnating agents are stains used to colour the wood intended for the exterior. Formulated with latest generation resins and pigments and enriched with UV absorbers, they colour the wood uniformly without hiding the distinctive features of the type of wood to be painted. The waterborne impregnating agents belonging to the same series can be mixed together to match an infinity of customized shades to satisfy any creative spirit.
Warnings
The impregnating agents of the IM30, IA35 and IC55 series must be applied on suitably sanded wood, with 150 paper grit, if it is hardwood, or 180 paper grit, if it is softwood.
Why use a impregnating agent??
Because the wood must be prepared for painting by removing all impurities, any stains and surface imperfections such as scratches or abrasions.

Waterborne topcoats

Warnings

Because the wood must be protected as much as possible from the attack of ultraviolet rays, which degrade the wood quickly if not properly protected, changing its natural colour.

Coloured enamels are an alternative to the clear topcoats of the IF4 series. Warnings
The enamels of the IO15 and IL17 series must be applied on wood treated with a colorless impregnating agent IM3000 or alternatively IA3500.
Why use a waterborne enamel?
Because the wood must be prepared for painting and the presence of the impregnating agent allows the enamel to anchor properly to the wood, as well as allowing optimal uniformity of colour.
